I would like the opportunity to voice my opinion on LURC in regards to rezoning Redington and Black Nubble Mountains for the purpose of installing a huge wind farm for electricity.
They are the ones that put these mountains in protection “meaning all protection” especially on something of this magnitude. It certainly looks like they have gone back on their word to protect them. They have recommended approval of this project and are talking about some requirements that will have to be made. “Big deal” This whole issue shouldn’t even be happening. It’s such a farce. LURC should keep its word to us and protect these mountains “from all development.” If they do indeed approve this, then their word is not worth the paper it is written on.
I am not against wind farms for electricity however lets put them in a proper place not on these beautiful mountains.
