The Lake
Sun soaked
Wind waved
Rain slashed Lake
Your restless shades of blue
Mimic the sky,
In multi-colored hue.
In magic merriment when sunlight skips
In gusty laugh, the clouds cause waves to rip.
Moon struck - star lit
Saintly sight,
Challenger of day
Keeper of the night.
Golden - glistening forever there
You keep a place for all to share.
